Droid Sound Quality

Here are the three different compressions for the droid(one WITH voice privacy) along with an iPhone sample for comparison. I’m actually pretty disappointed with the call quality. I assumed the droid sounded great because I can hear everyone very well. I wasn’t completely correct but it’s not bad either.

Keep in mind these were recorded with Skype so who knows how much that plays, but the iPhone was used for a comparison.

Here is the droid with 13k. This was supposed to be one of the better sounding compressions but I disagree.

Maybe it’s because I spoke up more for this one but this sounds like the best one in my opinion.

Here is the iPhone recording. There is a nasty scratchiness at the beginning of the recording that is my OWN equipments fault, not the iPhone. I was actually getting this sound when recording the droid until I recorded a few times. I didn’t want my friend to have to re-record the session so I left it. The speakerphone is very clear though.
